Citizens & Southern is not closing.

C&S Events & Catering concludes their lease on May 31 and is relocating to a new space.

The historic building at 148 W Main Street remains open and independently operated as Citizens & Southern — a premier event venue in downtown Spartanburg.

We are now accepting bookings beginning June 1, 2026.

INTRODUCING VAULT 148

Vault 148 is a refined upstairs setting designed for smaller gatherings, curated dinners, and private celebrations.

Rooted in the architecture of the historic bank building, the space offers a more intimate way to gather while preserving the character and legacy of 148 W Main.
